My Story
From my early days as a graffiti artist in Newnan, Georgia, to my transformative residency in Japan, my personal art journey has been one of evolution and storytelling. After honing my craft as an artist and pushing my creativity, I ultimately served in the U.S. Air Force, where my art took a backseat, yet my perspective profoundly deepened. After an honorable discharge in 2015, I reignited my passion earning a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in NYC. My artwork, influenced by both urban grit and meditative calm, tell immersive stories that invite viewers into a world where nature and spirit intertwine.
Today, Das.BK creates from a place of introspection and empathy, drawing from his diverse experiences to craft pieces that resonate with authenticity and depth. Whether on the streets of Atlanta or galleries worldwide, his work continues to evolve, reflecting a journey that honors both the chaos and serenity of life.
